Is there a trial period for adoption?
No, there is no trial period when you adopt from Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre. We take care to match you with an animal that suits your lifestyle. For dogs, we also recommend training classes to help you and your dog live happily ever after.
My pet isn’t settling in. What should I do?
It may take a little while for your cat or dog to settle into their new home and bond with you. This is generally perfectly normal, so hang in there.
My pet’s behaviour is challenging. What should I do?
If you’re worried about your cat or dog’s unusual or challenging behaviour, or you’re not sure how to fix it, please don’t hesitate to phone us on 5300 6000 for advice.
